Seen a viewing of ‘AMERICAN VIOLET’ recently.. And I had mixed emotions: upset, downhearted, gay, and surprised! To be falsely accused of a crime, that you know deep in your heart you did NOT commit, is one thing… But when your so-called lawyer suggests you to occupy a plea bargain, oppose to fighting for your clearance makes one wonder who can you trust… This movie, based on proper events, is heartwrenching, as it is an eye-opener!!! I’d recommend that everyone sees this flick, even teens!!! Granted this ocurred in Melody, Texas, it’s taking location worldwide…

Wouldn’t it be unpleasant to gain yourself jailed for something you did not do, based solely on the word of a lying, mentally ill drug addict? That’s what happened to Regina Kelly in Hearne, Texas wait on in 2000. Ensnared in a mass arrest of suspected drug dealers at her housing project, the young single mother was charged with selling drugs in a school zone. Despite her insistence that she was innocent, her court-appointed attorney pressured her to earn a plea bargain to avoid many years in prison and the loss of her children. With no criminal report and no drugs found on or arrive her, she refused the deal. Instead, with the succor of the American Civil Liberties Union she filed a class action lawsuit.

Although Kelly’s case was reported in a documentary by PBS’ cutting-edge Frontline succor in 2004, American Violet brings a fictionalized version to a broader, mass audience. Co-director Bill Haney (along with Tim Disney) says he heard about Kelly’s case on National Public Radio as he was driving; it so moved him that he pulled his car over to the side of the road and cried.

In this film, “Dee Roberts” (a pleasing Nicole Beharie) is the plaintiff in a class-action case over racial discrimination in drug enforcement. Tim Blake Nelson plays David Cohen, the ACLU lawyer who sues district attorney Calvin Beckett (Michael O’Keefe) on her behalf.

Kelly is quoted in the Chicago Tribune as saying the film is “90 percent legal.” The depositions, the courtroom scene in which she fights to preserve custody of her children, and many other scenes are word-for-word accounts.

Like Clint Eastwood’s Changeling, this narrative of a defiant woman’s struggle against gross law enforcement strikes a universal chord. But American Violet also addresses present-day criminal justice themes of racial profiling, coerced plea bargaining, and - most of all - wrongful convictions based on groundless statements by jailhouse informants.

I highly recommend this much movie.

I have purchased several DVDs in the “History of Warfare” series, including this one on the Vikings. I salvage them informative and tantalizing to students in my classes at a classical school, where I have customary this one as background for a witness of *Asser’s Life of Alfred the Great* with advanced eighth-graders. There are re-enactments of Viking invasions as well as maps showing Norse routes to England, Ireland, France, the eastern Mediterranean, and even the northeastern flit of the American continent. While discussing the Viking world concept, the video does a qualified job of explaining Valhalla, an after-life that looks a bit like Dante’s vision of hell, it turns out. I do wish the video contained more information about the building of the Viking ships, but, all in all, I found it useful for my purposes.

Upon viewing the first chapter, it’s definite that “Batman and Robin” (1949) will not emerge as one of the all-time enormous serials. With producer Sam Katzman at the helm, it’s bargain-basement all the method - apt down to the cheap costumes and an incredibly abominable excuse for a Batmobile. Despite low-budget shortcomings, there’s plenty of hokey fun as Batman and Robin face one contrived cliffhanger after another. The mysterious Wizard makes for an moving villain, since he never appeared in the funny books. Robert Lowery does a noble job as Batman, but John Duncan’s Boy Wonder looks like a juvenile delinquent. It’s nice to discover character actor Lyle Talbot as Commissioner Gordon, even though he has a tendency to activate the Bat Signal in tall daylight. Flaws and all, “Batman and Robin” is an undeniable guilty pleasure.

This 1949 serial will be of interest mainly to Batman and/or serial fanatics. It is fun to behold, though distinguished of the fun comes from the improbabilities and inconsistencies. For instance, there’s no Batmobile, fair a car which can be identified as Bruce Wayne’s car. Nobody except Bruce Wayne’s girl friend, Vickie Vale, seems to discover this.

There are very few favorable chapter endings here. Most of them are either lame or humdrum or borderline cheating.

We have the entire Baby Einstein DVD and CD collection and our daughter loves them all. We got the 10 DVD site and 5 CD plot as a shower gift and I have made it a point to add all the original titles to both collections.

Our daughter starting watching these things at 6 weeks customary. She would sit in her bouncer or swing and search for a couple of these everyday. We loved seeing the live action sequences, puppets and cartoons. But she loved the classical music even more. She could be crying up a storm but the second she heard an Einstein inaugurate up she would collected proper down so she could listen and discover.

At almost 15 months now she unexcited loves this collection. They back re-enforce her newly learned language skills while expanding her vocabulary. People are amazed at the words she can say and they can understand. She also learned many of her colors, animals and body parts from this station. She can’t say most of them impartial yet but she can point to everything from her head to her toes, she’ll bring you a positive colored block when asked and she loves pointing out the different animals at the pet store or zoo.

The Baby Einstein collection has really been a broad learning tool for our daughter. We can’t wait for the next one to advance out but until then we are enjoying the novel Minute Einstein collection. It’s an provocative series that takes up and advances you through the toddler years.

It’s been over 20 years since the proposed Robotech sequel series, The Sentinels, was canned. Some of the other reviewers on this page have some misconceptions about this movie, it seems… First of all, Shadow Chronicles is most definitely intended for longtime fans AS WELL AS Current ONES. The major reason that many of the older characters do not reappear in this chronicle is that the producers of the film wanted to get it as accessible as possible to a general audience. To be certain, you’ll glean the most out of it if you have a working belief of past Robotech, and there are several nods here to the fanboys, but overall the yarn is general enough to be understood by the lay person. (While it is suitable that Harmony Gold has had inconvenience utilizing the Macross character/mecha designs in the past and/or locating many of the frail squawk actors for this project, these are only two reasons for the absence of many of the unusual characters.) Being a longtime fan, I had mixed feelings about the prospects of The Shadow Chronicles, but I wanted to go into it as remarkable as possible with an originate mind. First, let me say that I liked the movie, and it was engaging to glimpse something modern in the Robotech universe (especially on the broad cover!) after so long. I had fears that this movie wouldn’t feel like Robotech, but it actually did.

There’s no reason for us to inquire a unusual project in this universe to feel like Robotech - afterall, the novel series was assembled out of necessity at the time, based on existing products. There’s a immense inequity between adapting existing material to fit your needs and creating something unusual from scratch, and the only thing we’ve seen in Robotech before in this vein was the minute bit of animation completed for the Sentinels… So above all else, I’m joyful to say that I deem this unique project lives up to the Robotech name.

The character animation overall is quite expedient. I enjoyed the current character designs (and was not bothered by Rick’s novel explore either) . I did feel the modern character animation was a bit more American-style and less anime-style (mostly with regard to the returning characters, strangely enough), but it is quality work nonetheless.

The movie works well as a sort of “pilot” to status up a series or more features, yet has a splendid decent chronicle in and of itself. I assume the fresh enemy has potential to obtain great villians, although I also view the possible pitfall of them becoming merely one-dimensional token abominable guys - something Robotech has never had to inconvenience about before. The cast of heroes seems promising, with enough variety yet familiarity for some spirited interactions and site developments.

Now onto some of the negatives… First of all, I indulge in that the CGI is great easier and less expensive to save together than plump old-school animation. With that in mind, I can gather that many of the backgrounds, ships, spot stations, etc. have to be done CGI. If it means we can have more Robotech, I can live with it. However, the smaller hand-to-hand combat mecha are a bit of a different legend. They simply don’t say the excitement of the mecha in the novel series, and their movements do not have any “weight” to them. During what should be intense moments of battle, I didn’t feel the excitement of the events taking site. To be exquisite, I did eventually bag ragged to the CGI mecha as the feature progressed, but I highly recommend the expend of former animation for the mecha in future installments, or at least working to originate the movements of the CGI mecha more realistic and less blocky so they don’t distract from the record.

However, my biggest complaint with the movie is the recreating of several scenes from the novel series. I inspect no pickle with creating original scenes in the environment of the former series (specifically the last two episodes of ‘New Generation’) . Indeed, that seems to be famous in order to create this unique production work. What I do have a predicament with is recreating the extinct scenes in a diagram that makes them directly conflict with those of the recent series. It would have been impartial as easy to perform recent scenes with the Invid characters Ariel and the Regis (i.e. events that could have occurred during the same timeframe as the new series, simply not shown on-screen), rather than changing the existing scenes to fit the arc of this unique storyline. So I’m a bit baffled as to why they chose to do this, and hope they don’t “mess with the gospel” this distinguished in future installments. That and the CGI are my major complaints with this project.

In conclusion, I opinion the movie was a lot of fun, though with some technical and status problems as mentioned above. I contemplate forward to seeing more Robotech!

“The Shadow Chronicles” represents a strong concern by Frank Agrama and Tommy Yune to carry on the Robotech legacy. Since Robotech was such an incredible series, expectations for this film were very high. Many people who absorb the DVDs, funny books, and Jack McKinney novels think Robotech to be one of their approved shows, if not their popular expose, of all time. Given that the fans are so valid, dedicated, and passionate, it is understandable that some of them would be disappointed if this film didn’t turn out to be as spectacular as the series. But “The Shadow Chronicles” is a step in the factual direction.

The outstanding characters and plot-twists made Robotech extraordinarily compelling during the 1980s. Watching the characters change and evolve as the series unfolded is what dwelling Robotech apart from fair about every other interesting series (or any television series, period) at the time. In fact, very few science fiction shows since have offered the audience anywhere approach the breadth and depth of the human experience as Robotech. Throw in the path-breaking themes lying fair beneath the surface like bi-racial relationships, a definite plan of women in the military, and a meaningful role for the United Nations in bringing people together, and the prove had all of the elements principal to remind viewers of the adversity they face in their daily lives and what it takes to be successful in this world.

This film is an exertion to distill those elements into a brief, 88 tiny thumbnail. On the first viewing, “The Shadow Chronicles,” its characters, and dialogue seem to descend flat. In fact, many hardcore fans may have visions of “The Phantom Menace” while watching it for the first time. However, with subsequent viewings, it becomes apparent that Ariel’s evolution as a person (err, Invid) is the film’s central message. Her transformation from the haunted and delirious alien into the lawful compass of the REF effectively captures the spirit that made the series so amazing to study.

Many viewers won’t gaze this during their initial viewing because the film has a lot of material crammed into such a short time slot. There are a lot of things going on, and it can be difficult to choose where the various characters are (Earth orbit, the deep station foul, or reach the SDF-3) during any given scene. Combine this with the radical departure from the vision of the Haydonites station out during “The Sentinels,” and the film can be downright confusing for hardcore fans to follow the first time around.

However, as full-length feature DVDs become the future of Robotech, “The Shadow Chronicles” is a step in the proper direction. At its core, the film keeps the most notable elements of the Robotech legacy intact. Viewers may complain about the appearance of the characters, video-game-like battle animation, the music, or the absence of some key characters from the series, but these issues are trivial in the long bustle. The departure from the anecdote line of “The Sentinels,” is a larger quandary since the consistency among the series, comical books, novels, and role-playing game was such an famous fragment of what made Robotech successful. But this jam, too, can be overcome in time.

Is “The Shadow Chronicles” a honorable film? Clearly. Is it a expansive film? That’s debatable. But it is clear from watching it that Agrama and Yune have a mammoth film in them. Robotech is very great alive, and fans should watch forward to what Harmony Gold has to offer in the future.

A honorable fragment of the not so clear reviews for this film are due to the authors’ preference of the 16 year in coming Vampire Hunter D film, entitled “Bloodlust”. I understand that the aforementioned film is quite magnificent, with some of the most magnificent visuals I’ve ever seen in anime. Therein lies the dilemma, however, because viewing “Bloodlust” first usually leads to a bias; people then usually gape the first one and claim that “Bloodlust” has so powerful going for it besides fair a beautiful presentation (it’s almost formulaic how it happens) .

Many people fail to glimpse the potential of this 1985 classic (based on Hideyuki Kikuchi’s first in a series of japanese novels), and instead they complain that the animation is “dated”. What people fail to peer is the very compelling (albeit familiar) account and modern characters. Most of all, the few underlying themes within the film. The film (state in the year 12,090) is about a victimized yet strong female character named Doris who lives in a rural position and looks after her younger brother Dan without the attend of any family (the only one that can care for both of them is the local doctor, Ferring) . Humanity lives in a time where after a nuclear holocaust, they coexist with mutants, monstrosities, and vampires (the latter of which is seen by themselves and others as “nobility”) . During a routine hunt, Doris’s horse is viciously (and graphically) killed by the werewolf of the local 10,000 year feeble vampire count, Magnus Lee. Lee then bites Doris, and intends to bewitch her as his wife. Doris encounters the very stoic, very strong and shadowy vampire hunter, named D. The movie follows D’s efforts to storm Lee’s castle, deal with his many homely henchmen, and raze the count, in order to set Doris from becoming a vampire.

2001’s film, “Bloodlust” (based on Kikuchi’s third current in the series) is about the kidnapping of a young woman named Charlotte Melbourne by a young looking vampire named Meier Link. Charlotte’s father hires D to bring her attend, or ruin her if she is to become a vampire herself. Not only does Charlotte’s father hire D, but also the cocksure team of bounty hunters called the Markus Brothers (and sister, Leila) . Meier Link becomes wise to the various hunters, and hires members of the Barbaroy, a clan of viscious monsters. Throughout the film the viewer learns that Charlotte may not have been kidnapped, and she and Meier Link may actually like each other (despite Meier’s realization of the inescapable lust he will have to have for Charlotte) .

Though both films may seem to have similar stories (A frigid quiet and still hunter needs to put a girl, etc), it is the 1985 film that clearly shines. The draw the record is told in the current one is very straighforward, whereas “Bloodlust” is a very cheesy romantic anecdote elephantine of place holes and an overabundance of characters. There are very radiant themes throughout the film, such as identity (D’s dealing with the imbalance of his vampire and his human side, Lamica and the harsh realization of her apt nature, and mutant Rei’s yearning for nobility), and the ignorance of apt nobility (the Lee family mistakenly goes against their illustrious ancestor’s good beliefs) . The themes of “Bloodlust” are a bit more cliche, such as the dealing with characters’ pasts which they can’t race, and savor vs. lust.

Another quality the 1985 film has going for it are the worthy characters. D is a man frustrated with his identity (a half human and half vampire who has to deal with his possesed left hand constantly and wryly reminding him of his just nature) and struggling with the possible savor of the female protagonist. Doris is a damsel in afflict (albeit a strong one) with the responsibility of caring for her brother and the humiliation of being shunned by her hometown for being bitten by the Count. Doris also has to understand that she cannot ever have feelings for D, because D cannot repress his vampiric lust. The Lee family looks at themselves as proper yet they are gravely ignorant of their ancestors good beliefs. Count Lee is a reach 10,000 year veteran vampire overridden by boredom, resulting in his turning to “having fun” with human women every hunderd or so years. Lee’s daughter heavily follows her father’s improper conception of humans being nothing more than livestock (leading to a pounding realization later in the film) . Lee’s henchman Rei Ginsei is a mutant with unique talents, who wants to be approved into the house of Lee so that he isn’t looked at as scum. Supporting the main characters are Dr. Ferring the town’s humble doctor who tries his best to stand up for Doris; and Doris’s intrepid younger brother Dan who looks up to D as a role model and tries to shape himself into the same kind of person. The quandary with the characters in “Bloodlust” is that amongst the main characters of D (suffering from similar issues in the new film), Leila Markus (jumpy by the past of her plain mother during her childhood), and Charlotte & Meier (their yearning to fraction their misunderstood like for each other), there are various supporting characters such as the Markus Brothers (hunters with no dependable past besides a reputation), the unpleasant Barbaroy (ditto), and the bloody Countess Carmilla (the heinous spirit of a vampire who aids the couple, with an agenda of her contain) . This “supporting cast” doesn’t really seem to have a point, other than to be killed in some diagram by D or someone else. The yarn of Carmilla in relation to D seems to be a state hole that isn’t exactly explained.

Before comparing animation, I will first say that “Bloodlust” has some of the most lustrous and glowing visuals I’ve ever seen in any anime and it would be no comparison as to which one is of finer quality. However, the art style and tone of the 1985 film is great more representative of the type of memoir being told. The unique film is very dismal, eerie, mysterious, a bit more of the macabre. “Bloodlust” however has many smart scenes, and seems mighty less sad and mighty less serious (a dinky tidbit that will soon be covered), this takes away very mighty from the unlit nature and map of the title character and the genre. The music shows this too: In “Bloodlust” it is very theatric, and over the top, whereas in the modern it is subtle and foreboding.

Although this quality of the 2001 part is less outward than the rest of what I have mentioned, it is nonetheless noteworthy. There is a very evident Americanization of a fable of Japanese origin within “Bloodlust” and the genre its epic represents. As mentioned before the tone of “Bloodlust” is often times comedic and more action oriented than dread, which takes away heavily from the black nature of the Vampire Hunter D mythos. What is characteristic of American fright is that even in the darkest tales, there is usually someone or something there for silly relief (go figure, evidentially “Bloodlust” was originally recorded in the English language) . D’s left hand is reduced from a unlit entity sardonically reminding D of his accurate self to a sort of wise cracking sidekick.

The whole point of this was not only to review a astronomical film I am a vast fan of, but to point out why I understanding this film as wholly superb to a 2001 film that gets more praise. In regards to “Bloodlust”, I believe it’s a spacious film with a lot of potential that simply went to slay. Many people veil unhurried the fact that it’s so stunningly lively, but “What’s a friendly looking plate with nothing on it? ”

Vampire Hunter D. . . this is a film in which I tend to think other anime films against. Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, and Vampire Hunter D are the Fab Four of the Anime Universe. You simply cannot go detestable by buying this film. Lots of futuristic action with a major Goth theme to it. You would notify that this was taking situation in the shadowy ages during some parts of this film, but then you witness the technology that they have in the future. . . WOW. That’s all I can say. WOW. Do yourself a titanic favor: Stare this movie! And with it coming out on DVD, how could it possibly gather any better? By the draw, even if you don’t fully apreciate Japanese animation, this is serene one of the greatest vampire action movies of all time. If you want to inspect an example of what sizable japanese anime is all about, then there are unprejudiced a few films that you truly must see: AKIRA, Princess Mononoke, Ghost in the Shell, and Vampire Hunter D. I saw this documentary at a local video store and I am tickled I rented it. James Dresnok (spelling? ) had a less than stellar life growing up. Neglected as a child and never finding his procedure to the “American Dream” he ended up in the Army on the DMZ. A documentary crew was allowed to go to North Korea to interview Mr. Dresnok who has spent his life since 1962 in that Stalinist status. It’s an enthralling documentary as it also points out that three other soldiers defected to North Korea around the same time. Dresnok is an involving interview and his “rush” across the minefields, his interrogation by North Korean leaders and his “fame” as a “movie star” in North Korea portraying the U.S. as the Imperalist Nefarious General in their movies was provocative to say the least.

Dresnok is a likable person at times and at other times I sat and wondered fair how sunless he really is in his life. Serene, he seems enlighten and he paints an intriguing portrayal of life as a man, a husband and a father to his children in North Korea. When the documentary was over I learned a tiny bit about North Korea and about an American who found his “peace” in that Stalinist regime.

Technically sparkling, considering the subject — fast-paced camera, capable cuts, thoughtful shot angles.

Mr.Dresnok, living in Pyongyang since 1962, does the memoir himself. He comes across as a convivial, unbiased, lying, brutal character, you name it, and saddened beyond repair. “You do not like fishing? “, a North Korean sitting next to him at the river remarks casually, causing Mr.Dresnok to ever so slightly map a rapid cigarette journey.

There it is, the truth of a squandered life in an alien country. The Korean angler sensed it.

There is a obvious bent authenticity to him, a bullyish bonhomy that makes him ogle almost tall to have a beer with at a sports bar at one moment, and explore sadistic without further approach sight the next, with nothing but unbiased seconds to spare inbetween.

Apart from his esteem for his family, that is the only well-behaved deep emotion Mr.Dresnok allows himself to note.

One of the best films ever made that explores the human heart, “Shirley Valentine” begins with a bored British housewife who aches for “the girl who dilapidated to be me.” Shirley Valentine was the rebel, the smart-mouth, the girl who would dare to do what other girls only dreamed of having the nerve to try. Now she’s Shirley Bradshaw, a 42-year-old housewife with 2 grown kids and a husband she feels doesn’t esteem her anymore. This movie is about how a fortnight’s holiday alone (more or less - she arrives with a friend who promptly ditches her) in Greece enables her to earn Shirley Valentine again. Droll, witty, heartwarming, appealing, sentimental without being syrupy, “Shirley Valentine” is for all of us who’ve ever wondered if we made the lawful choices in life — and if it’s too slack to retract some of them attend. Pauline Collins deserved the Oscar she was nominated for (too terrible she didn’t collect it), with one of the best performances by an actor ever establish onto film. The perfect movie to sight WHENEVER you are “down in the dumps,” this film will cheer you up and give you hope, each and every time.

I saw this movie many years ago, when it first hit the art house theatres. I bought it on video as soon as it was available!

This movie touched me in a plot that no other movie has before. Shirley’s desire to rediscover life during a marriage that’s tedious, along with two grown kids that don’t seem to care considerable for her anymore, really was poignant. Her desire to win that young, rebellious girl that she once was, willing to win chances and savor life, study the world — it’s an astonishing film.

You’ll like her diminutive sidebars to the cameras and her conversations with inanimate objects. Pauline Collins is adorable and a delight in this film. It’s a sizable film for women and men alike, for those who have forgotten who they are but want to procure succor in touch with their inner child, realize that honest because your 40 doesn’t mean you’re dead; you’ve got a lot more living to do, as Shirley states in the movie.

Buy it for yourself and for others. It’s humorous and touching at the same time. You’ll cheer for Shirley as she breaks out of the bored housewife mode and into the sexy go-getter who’s ready to conquer the world.

The only complaint I have (and it’small) is that the first time you explore it, you may have a hard time plan Shirley. Her British accent is rather hard, but once you’ve watched it a number of times (and I’m definite you will want to) you regain primitive to the accent.

LOOK WHO’S TALKING actually did very well when it came out. I deem these amazon people prefer things too seriously or don’t have kids, or have such stressful lives they can’t relish any kind of humor these movies have. I even enjoyed it when it came out and i was aloof in elementary school. My mom enjoyed it, and she loved babies and everything that had to do with babies and kids. Parents would like this movie, not all but most. I’m not even one of those “kid lovers” I like kids, but not obsessed or anything like many kid lovers are. But Inspect WHO’S TALKING is a simple comedy with many comic parts like when kirstie alley’s command turned into a devil grunt as she went into labor, because of the afflict. To me, and my mom that piece was hilarious and many women could characterize to that because giving birth is no picnic, especially when it’s your first baby. I’ve never given birth, but i’ve heard the stories. Anyways, i also read many amazon people’s reviews about how defective explore who’s talking too was, i’m thinkin’ what is deplorable with people nowadays? That was a cute movie too, the baby girl was as cute as a button, and the acting wasn’t dreadful. I dont understand that. And at the waste when mikey took his baby sisters’s hand and they walked, and you could examine her wobbling, and that cute baby mosey which is so cute words can’t portray, and the song i got you babe added to the moment. What’s not to treasure, that was an adorable ending all i could say was AWWWWWW!!! people need to lighten up, especially if you wanna be splendid parents. Try to be pleased life, and not recall things so seriously. These movies were basically about that. All those diminutive amusing and heartwarming moments when your kid is born and starts to grow and learn. But View WHO’S TALKING NOW i must agree with the others because it was faulty. It doesn’t build sense frankly, the first two films were about talking babies, why go to dogs? I like dogs and everything bewitch WHY? It’s almost embarassing to inspect. Kind of absurd and yes the acting was horrific, and cheeesy script, and everything in the film was flat out tedious. What next talking furniture and appliances lol. But the first two are detached vast films, and john travolta is one of my common actors, and elias koteas who was in number two was humorous, like he was in some kind of unbelievable.

“Glance Who’s Talking” is probably my celebrated film with Kirstie Alley, my common film with John Travolta (though “Grease” comes stop) and my common film with Bruce Willis (though I’m not exactly a fan of his) . It’s humorous, it’s romantic, it’s got some innovative special effects, a couple of car chases, and John Travolta even gets to flit a plane (which he must have really enjoyed at the time!) .

Kirstie Alley plays Mollie, an accountant who has an office affair with one of her clients (George Segal), and ends up getting pregnant. It wasn’t planned, and she’s a puny ashamed of the source, but Mollie soon warms to the understanding of having a baby. After a traumatic day leisurely in the preganacy, Mollie goes into labor in the middle of the bustling streets of Unusual York, and takes a cab driven by the easy going James (John Travolta) . Though it’s not really what he wants to do (he wants to be a pilot) he’s very apt at driving a cab, and gets Mollie there very fast. She has the baby, Mikey, and he’s something of a thinker (voice/thoughts spoken by Bruce Willis), wondering to himself what this odd world around him is, and who these exclusive people around him are. He starts to grow up as time goes on, and Mollie decides to glance for a father. She made a mistake, and she owes it to Mikey to accumulate him a Dad. She dates here, she dates there, but could the true Dad be staring her in the face this whole time?

Everyone plays their allotment well, and the residence flows really nicely, bit of action, bit of a thoughtful moment, bit of a laugh. It’s a romatic comedy of sorts, and it’s a humorous peer at early motherhood, it’s spicy seeing both happening at the same time. It’s one of those films I can explore again and again, and have done over the years. The soundtrack is astronomical too, a mixture of some older pop hits and contemporary 1980s tunes (including “Wearisome Things” by Australian musician Paul Kelly during the taxi labor scene, a song I really like) .

Overall, it’s a sweet and laughable petite film, a definitely worth a gape for fans of anyone in it. Recommended.

I was surprised to win all three seasons at such a rock bottom note. Since the sign was so grand, I understanding it might have some cheap quality. I check-out reviews others made for single seasons. The clarity and quality on these is 9 to 9.5 out of 10. I have had no freeze or pix problems as of yet (haven’t viewed ALL 9, one-sided discs) . The storylines are of the quality that Gunsmoke had during the Chester and Quint years. This is a titanic deal for any western fan. The protagonist, played by Steve McQueen, is a bounty hunter who balances ethics with (of course) the bounty $$$ he’s after. 4 to 5 *s!!!.

Sad to witness this won’t include the pilot episode “The Bounty Hunter” from ‘Trackdown’ with Robert Culp, but here are the contents:
